Getting Started & Account Setup
Create your account, onboard your team, and import your contacts.
What is Respectly and who is it for?
Respectly is a B2B SaaS platform for businesses that need to send messages, collect consent, run intake forms, and capture e-signatures without falling foul of telecom and privacy laws. It's used by service businesses, agencies, healthcare and finance teams, and any organization that needs to prove a contact gave permission before they were contacted.
The platform combines messaging (SMS, email, voice, WhatsApp), a drag-and-drop form builder, e-signature documents, a workflow automation engine, and an AI assistant that drafts messages and checks them against jurisdiction-specific compliance rules before they're sent. Everything is tracked, time-stamped, and exportable for audits.
How do I create an account?
Visit app.respectly.ai and sign up with your email, or use a federated sign-in (Google, Microsoft, or Apple). New accounts start in a guided setup wizard that walks you through eight short steps: a welcome screen, business details, brand assets, what you want to accomplish, optional contact import, your communications channels, plan selection, and a feature discovery tour.
You can skip any step you're not ready for and come back to it later — the dashboard shows a banner with the steps you still have left. Setup progress is auto-saved on every change, so closing the browser doesn't cost you anything.
What information do I need to provide during onboarding?
For a personal account you only need your name, email, and a password (or a federated sign-in). For a business account you'll be asked for your business name, industry, website (optional), and billing address. If you plan to register a dedicated phone number you'll also need to provide an EIN or other business tax ID, because carriers require it for 10DLC SMS registration.
You'll optionally upload a logo (we'll auto-crop it and generate the variants used on forms and emails) and pick a brand color. Brand assets can be changed any time later in Settings → Branding.
Can I import my existing contacts?
Yes — three ways. You can upload a CSV of any size, add contacts manually one at a time, or connect a Google or Microsoft account via OAuth and import directly from Google Contacts or Outlook Contacts. The OAuth import is available on all plans, and two-way smart sync (where changes flow both ways) is available on Pro and Enterprise.
After import you'll be prompted to confirm consent status for each contact, because importing a contact does not automatically grant permission to message them. Existing consent evidence can be uploaded as a CSV column or set in bulk if you have a documented opt-in source.
Can I customize the login page and emails with my own branding?
Yes. Brand assets (logo, primary color, secondary color) are configured in the OOBE wizard and editable in Settings. They're applied automatically to hosted forms, email headers, and signature/consent pages. Custom domain forms and outbound email sending from your own domain are available on Pro and Enterprise.
The sign-in page for your account can also be branded with your logo and colors. Federated sign-in (Google, Microsoft, Apple) is enabled by default for all tenants.
Is there a mobile app?
Respectly is built mobile-first as a responsive web app — it works in any modern mobile browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox) and supports installation as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on iOS and Android home screens. A native mobile app is on the roadmap; see respectly.ai for the latest.
How do I invite my team?
Open Settings → Team Management and click "Invite member." You'll enter their email address and pick a role (Owner, Admin, Agent, or Viewer — or a custom role you've created). They get an email invitation; once they accept, set a password, and confirm their account, they're added to the team. You can resend or revoke pending invitations at any time. Team sizes are tier-gated: 1 user on Free and Standard, up to 5 on Pro, 6+ on Enterprise.
