Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to start?

Not for the Free plan — sign up with just an email. The Solo plan starts with a 14-day free trial that does require a card on file; we run a card verification authorization through our PCI-compliant processor (Helcim) and don't charge until day 14. Pro is a direct purchase covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Enterprise plans are arranged with sales.

What happens if I exceed my monthly message limits?

Sending continues — you're never cut off mid-broadcast. If you exceed included usage, check current overage rates and volume rules directly in the app under Settings → Billing. The Free plan pauses sending at the cap until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.

Are dedicated phone numbers included in any plan?

No — dedicated phone numbers are an add-on. Free and Solo use a shared phone pool. Numbers cover SMS/RCS, voice, and WhatsApp and include 10DLC carrier registration in the US for high deliverability. See current number pricing in the app billing page.

Is there a discount for annual billing?

Yes — annual billing saves approximately 20% versus monthly. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from Settings → Billing — the discount applies on your next renewal.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current cycle, so you keep higher-tier features until then. If a downgrade would put you over a plan limit (e.g., 7 users on a 5-user plan), the system warns you before confirming.

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee on Pro work?

If Respectly isn't right for you within the first 30 days of your first Pro invoice, contact support and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. After the first 30-day window, the standard cancellation policy applies: cancel any time, effective at the end of your current billing cycle, with no pro-rated refund.

Do you handle taxes, VAT, and GST?

Yes. Sales tax, VAT, GST, and other regional taxes are calculated and applied at checkout where required, and shown on every invoice. Add your tax ID or VAT number in Settings → Billing → Tax Information.
