RESPECTLY.AI

Integrations, API & Webhooks

REST API, Zapier, Make, OAuth providers, and signed webhook events.

  • Do you have a public API?

Yes, on Pro and Enterprise only. The REST API exposes contacts, messages, forms, documents, workflows, and analytics. Pro includes 10,000 API calls per day; Enterprise is custom. Authentication uses JWT tokens issued by our identity provider. Full OpenAPI documentation is available at api.respectly.ai/docs.

  • What integrations come built in?

    • OAuth sign-in — Google, Microsoft, Apple.
    • Contact sync — Google Contacts, Outlook Contacts (two-way smart sync on Pro/Enterprise).
    • Email providers — Sinch (hosted), Gmail/Google Workspace, Microsoft 365/Outlook, any SMTP server (SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES, SparkPost, etc.).
    • SMS providers — ClickSend, Sinch.
    • Voice AI — UltraVox.
    • Payments — Helcim.
    • Automation platforms — Zapier and Make (formerly Integromat), Pro and Enterprise only.
    • AI agents via MCP — ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, Pro and Enterprise only.
  • What webhook events can I subscribe to?

Outbound webhooks can fire on message and engagement events including Delivered, Opened, Clicked, Bounced, Dropped, Spam Report, and Unsubscribe, plus contact lifecycle events (created, updated, opted-out), form submissions, document signature events, and workflow milestones. Each webhook is signed with an HMAC signature for verification and supports automatic retries with exponential backoff on failure.

  • Can Respectly receive inbound webhooks?

Yes — inbound SMS and DLR (delivery receipts) come from ClickSend, and inbound email parsing comes from SendGrid (delivered to inbound.respectly.app and routed into the unified inbox). For your own webhooks pointed at Respectly endpoints, see the developer docs.

  • How do I connect Zapier?

Search for Respectly in the Zapier directory and authenticate with your account. Available triggers include new contact, form submission, message delivered, and document signed. Available actions include create contact, send message, enroll in workflow, and create document. Zapier and Make integrations are Pro and Enterprise only.

  • Can I import contacts from Google or Outlook?

Yes — the OAuth Contact Import flow lets you sign into your Google or Microsoft account, pick which contact lists to import, and pull them into Respectly. Two-way smart sync (changes flow both ways) is available on Pro and Enterprise. The required OAuth scopes are contacts.readonly for Google and Contacts.Read for Microsoft.
